The following photos are due for portfolio 2 tomorrow: leading lines, abstract closeup (2 photos), picasa edited image and a landscape photo. Your camera mode blog assignment should also be included with portfolio 2.

Download and Install Picasa

Today we will be working with Picasa, a free download from google.

Instructions:
1. Download and Install Picasa from Google
2. Import your photos into Picasa
3. Search the Internet for tutorials on Picasa and post your favorite tutorial in the comment section. Be sure to include the URL.
4. Go through the comments and look at all the tutorials and reply to your favorite.

1. What are the advantages of shooting digital pictures as opposed to film?
2. A fast Shutter speed is used to stop action in a photograph, slow shutter speed for flowing waterfall shots.
3. You need to know how the aperture affects depth of field. As your lens opening gets smaller depth of field increases.
