Requirements for Portfolios

PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS

The following are the requirements for each portfolio you submit this semester:
1.       Your portfolios will be handed in as a POWERPOINT file.
2.       Each assigned picture should have a title slide with the name of the photo technique as well as an appropriate definition.
3.       You are required to have at least two photos that you take that demonstrate each technique. Label these slides as “My Photos.” Only 1 picture per slide.
4.       You must search the Internet for 3 appropriate examples of each type of photograph (photos should be large enough to fit on the Powerpoint slide without pixelization, ex. at least 640 x 480 or above). You must provide the link to where you found the photograph.
5.        Under each example, you must provide your explanation as to why this photograph is a good example of the assigned technique. You may do this in paragraph form or bullet points.
6.       Only 1 picture with your explanation per slide. Label these slides as “Example 1, 2, 3.”
7.       Neatness and design of your Powerpoint presentation count toward your grade, so be diligent.
8.       You must include your raw photographs for each portfolio in a separate folder. For example, “Portfolio 1 Photos.”
